SFV Mutli-Clan Alliance

SFVMCA is a group of clans that are allied in order to bring in hits and members for each clan.  This is done by having a variety of different clans each active in a separate game.  SFV serves as host of the alliance, for more info please read on.

(CURRENTLY NOT FULLY SUPPORTING)

New Members Information Page

Welcome to SFV.  Please do note this page is only for recruits who are already apart of SFV, if you wish to be approved and become part of SFV, you must read our recruitment page.  Joining a new clan can be a very difficult thing to do, especially one as developed as SFV.  Below is a guide to help you understand what to do and how to go about doing it.  After reading this, if you have any further questions, be sure to contact a game leader or a clan leader.  Once again, welcome to SFV.

Information about SFV

Steps after joining

  1. If you haven't done so yet, register for our forum
  2. Request to join your gaming user group by going to "User groups"> Select Your Game> View Information> Then Request to Join.  You will be approved upon completion of Boot Camp.
  3. You must contact your Recruitment Officer and pass Boot Camp.  For information on boot camp and to find out who your Recruitment Officer is, review our Boot Camp page.  If the information is out of date, please contact your game leader.
  4. It is suggested that you find the MSN contacts of members of your game.  MSN is very much used in SFV and a good way to keep in touch, outside of the forum.
  5. Lastly, remain active and posting on our forum.  It is essential and required.

Information and Background
SFV is a very structured clan.  We require all users to post on our forum and stay active on it.  Not only this, you must also stay active on your game in order to stay in SFV, because of the fact that this clan is based on gaming.  Information about us can be view on our about page.

Roll calls
Roll calls are something done to check the activity of all members in each game.  Roll calls are a post made in each gaming forum.  Members of that game are to reply with the word "Active".  They are done on the 15th of the month and are closed on the 20th, which is the date they get sent to the appropriate Clan Leader.  Failure to respond, without a reasonable excuse, will result in an inactivity marking.  Two missed roll calls, again, without a reasonable excuse, will result in removal.  Some circumstances can make members not reply to roll calls and not be affected such as vacations, family issues, computer/internet problems, etc.  The excuse "I am too busy" is not acceptable.  If you can't spend two seconds to reply to a roll call, then obviously don't have the time to play a game.

Forum Activity
All members are required to post on our forum.  To check this, a roll call is done on the 15th of every month.  However, only replying to roll calls is not enough.  Members are required to visible check and post the forum frequently.  There is no set number because of the endless circumstances.  Game Leaders should obviously check it more often than a new recruit.  Any member who hasn't visited the forum in two months will have their accounts deleted.

Game Activity
Easiest one of them all, why am I even going over it?  Common to all clans:  If you don't play the game, your getting kicked.  Simple, right?

Member Promotions
Members are promoted by the following:  Activity, maturity, and recruiting.  The Game Leaders are in charge of promoting their members based on the rank requirements given on our ranks page.

Common Phrases
Many new recruits are often confused at the terms the members use.  Below is a list of some of these terms:

  • GL - Game Leader
  • AGL - Assistant Game Leader
  • FPS - First Person Shooter
  • RTS - Real Time Strategy
  • COD - Call of Duty
  • BF - Battlefield
  • Ren - Renegade
  • ZH - Zero Hour
  • BOD - Board of Directors
  • CoA - Chief of Advertisement
  • CoC - Chief of Communication

Communication
SFV believes good communication is essential to a good clan.  We use msn, mIRC, message boards, and TeamSpeak.  Please look off the main navigation for pages setup for each program to help you use them correctly.

Further Assistance
If you are still lost, please post in our forum in the General Discussion area asking for help.  Also, the rest of our site clearly defines SFV structure, rules, regulations, policies, and our history.  Please browse around as it is there for you!  Your last option is contacting members on MSN, as stated before.
